Salt Lake City Public Utilities funds park strip and landscape conversion incentives through utah water savers for salt lake city and some east-bench areas. Applications go through Utah Water Savers, approval is required before any turf is removed, and the rebate is paid per square foot replanted to standard.
How to apply
- Create an account at utahwatersavers.com and enter your service address. The portal routes you to Salt Lake City Public Utilities automatically if it funds your area.
- Upload pre-project photos of the lawn you plan to remove. We send these to you for any job we quote.
- Wait for approval. Do not remove any lawn first.
- After installation, upload final photos and the plant list. Payment follows inspection.
