Water-wise landscaping · Salt Lake Valley
Less lawn.
More life.
Rebate handled.
We are the valley's xeriscape specialists. We only do water-wise, and we handle your Utah Water Savers rebate. Start with your park strip: fixed price, planted to rebate standard, done in a day.
- Fixed price park strips
- Localscapes trained
- Sandy to Lehi, Bountiful to Herriman

The Strip Flip
The hardest lawn on your lot is the easiest one to lose.
The park strip bakes between two slabs of concrete, your sprinklers water the street, and the rebate pays you by the square foot to take it out. We cut the sod, convert the heads to drip, mulch or gravel it, and plant a mix that fills in by the second summer.
One fixed price by square footage. One day on site. We send you every photo and document the application asks for.

How it goes
Three visits. One rebate check.
- 1
Walk the yard
We measure the strip or the lot, check the sprinkler zones and tell you what the rebate will likely cover. Written fixed price for strips, per-square-foot quote for yards.
- 2
Apply, then we build
You submit the Utah Water Savers application with the photos and plan we send. Once approved, we remove the lawn, convert spray to drip and plant. Most strips take one day.
- 3
Collect the rebate
We send the final photos and plant list for your closeout. The district pays you per square foot removed. The yard looks better every year.

High desert, not desert
We plant what already grows on the bench.
No cactus, no Arizona. Penstemon, blue flax, buckwheat, Apache plume, rabbitbrush and native grasses survive Salt Lake winters and July heat on little or no water, and they bloom from April to the first frost.
Where we work
Salt Lake County first.
Each city has its own water provider, park strip rules and soil. We write a page for every one we work in.
What is xeriscape, and is it the same as zeroscape?
Xeriscape means landscaping designed to need little or no irrigation beyond natural rainfall: the right plants, grouped by water need, on drip, with mulch. "Zeroscape" is a common misspelling that people also use to mean an all-rock yard. We do xeriscape with plants, not rock-only yards, because that is what looks good, stays cool and qualifies for the rebate.
How much does xeriscape cost in Utah?
A park strip conversion is the entry point and is quoted as a fixed price by square footage. Full front yards and whole lots are quoted per square foot and vary with sod removal, drip conversion, rock tonnage and plant density. Rebates typically cover a meaningful share of a strip and a smaller share of a full yard. We publish current ranges on our cost page and quote every job in writing.
Do you handle the Utah Water Savers rebate paperwork?
Yes. We send you the pre-project photos, plan and plant list the application needs, tell you when to submit, and provide the final photos. You apply and receive the rebate directly; we just make it painless.
Where do you work?
