About
We only do water-wise.
Wasatch Xeriscape exists because the Salt Lake Valley is converting lawn faster than anyone can keep up with, and most of the companies doing it are general landscapers with a xeriscape tab. We are the opposite: a specialist that does one thing, does it to the rebate standard, and handles the paperwork.
Why now
Secondary water is being metered. Cities are restricting lawn in park strips. The Great Salt Lake needs the water that is currently landing on Kentucky bluegrass between sidewalks. And the state and the water districts will pay you by the square foot to make the change. There has never been a better time to lose the lawn, and there has never been a worse time to do it badly.
How we work
- Localscapes-trained design. Every plan uses Utah's own method so it qualifies for the rebate and looks like it belongs here.
- Natives first. Penstemon, buckwheat, sage, flax and native grasses, not cactus.
- Drip only in beds. Spray heads get capped, not moved.
- Written, fixed prices for park strips. Per-square-foot quotes for yards.
- The full rebate package on every job: pre-project photos, scaled plan, plant list, final photos.

Start with the strip.
A fixed-price park strip conversion, planted to rebate standard, paperwork handled. Most strips are done in a day.
